~ After they return home from Italy now with two young children, Lily makes the decision to return to being a stay-at-home mom, but continues creating her own artwork in her spare time. She eventually opens her own gallery with some of her new and archived pieces and receives offers from several potential buyers.
~ When Ted and Tracy find out she's pregnant, they decide to forgo their formal wedding plans and a month later are married in a small ceremony at city hall. Marshall and Lily surprise them with a reception on the apartment roof with all their close family and friends.
~ Barney and Robin decide to spend time apart after their huge fight in Argentina… NOT DIVORCE. They enter counseling and reach a new understanding with each other, deepening their relationship more than ever. Eventually they move back in together and officially reconcile.
~ For the Halloween party, Robin goes as a groupie to Barney's rock star.
~ The day Lily and Marshall are officially moved into their new home, she goes into labor. They have another girl they name Rosie. Later that same day, Marshall receives a call offering him a judgeship and now the gang has more to celebrate!
~ Robin continues to travel the world with Barney at her side, making unbelievable memories together and further solidifying their marriage.
~ Marshall soars through the judicial system and runs for the Senate, while Lily has become one of the state's most prestigious artists and the new image of "the working mom".
~Ted and Tracy do unfortunately receive the devastating diagnosis of Tracy's illness… but SHE LIVES…and defeats the disease after a long grueling battle.
And with that, Ted finally concludes his story to Luke and Penny, with Tracy appearing next to him with a kiss on his cheek.
The kids are relieved, until their mother offers to tell her side of the story!
