So I came up with a little drabble about Tyler and Caroline. After the Klaus and Caroline's fling in the woods, she runs into Rebekah and she tells Caroline about what Tyler was planning to do in New Orleans. I do not own The Vampire Diaries. All rights belong to the CW.
Caroline Forbes has never been so angry in her entire life. How could he do that, she thought, and to his own friend. She'll admit Klaus has done some pretty unforgiveable things in the past. But even he doesn't deserve to have his child taken away from him.
The next day Caroline made her way to the Lockwood mansion. When she got to the house she banged on the door as loud as possible. When Matt opened the door she stormed inside.
"Matt, where's Tyler?" she asked.
"I think he's outside. Why?" asked Matt.
"I'll tell you later" she said.
She furiously made her way to the kitchen. She found Tyler fixing something to eat.
"Hey care" he said casually.
"Don't 'hey care' me. I have a bone to pick with you. Did you really think I wouldn't find out what you tried to do in New Orleans?" Caroline said.
"I don't know what you're talking about." he said faking innocent.
"Oh please, I know that you tried to kill Klaus's baby. Seriously, what the hell is wrong with you?"
"You don't understand okay." he said.
"What's not to understand? You wanted revenge so you tried to do something absolutely unthinkable." she said.
She was absolutely appalled at the way he was acting, as if trying to kill a baby was no big deal.
"You know I get it okay, you wanted to make him suffer just like he made you suffer. And I'm sorry that Klaus killed your mom. I really am, but if you think that killing his and Haylee's baby would make you even, then you've got another thing coming." she said honestly and sincerely.
Tyler looked at her suspiciously. "Why are defending him all of a sudden? I thought you hated him."
"I'm not defending him I'm defending the baby, you know the one you tried to KILL. And I never hated Klaus, okay, that's you. Just to be clear, I hate the things he's done." she said, she was starting to get frustrated.
Tyler looked deep in thought for a moment, and then something dawned on him.
"You like him don't you?" he said.
"OH MY GOD, how hardheaded can you be? This is not about me. It's about admitting what you tried to do in New Orleans is WRONG." she said getting really mad.
"OK, fine it was wrong, there you happy now." he said.
"Thank you," she said finally satisfied, "oh and one more thing, when the Tyler I know comes back let me know, until then DON'T talk to me."
She left the Lockwood mansion, and headed for the Salvatore's. She was glad that she finally gave him a piece of her mind. Maybe I do like Klaus, she thought, but that's between me and him.
