Dark

It was dark.

He was very glad he had torches with him. Although things hadn't been going well for him lately, he was very lucky that his torches hadn't soaked and become useless. It was actually surprising too. He didn't feel like thinking about it. He was tired after that battle.

He trudged through the dark wet cave, dragging his soaking sword as he did. He soon found what he was looking for. He took a deep breath as he looked around at his surroundings, which wasn't much until he turned on the light.

It was small, and barely gave off any light. It shone just above one green armchair. He slumped into the leather cushions and let his head rest.

After a few moments, he jumped out of his chair and pulled out his enchanted diamond sword at the sound of voices. Well, it was one voice, but same thing. He was very surprised and confused to hear who's voice it was.

It was his own voice.

After taking a deep breath, he slowly tiptoed down the dark hall towards the direction of the voice. There seemed to be some light coming from around the corner. He hated to admit it, but he was scared.

He shook as he held his sword out in front of him with both hands, preparing to face whatever was over around the corner. His hands trembled and his heart pounded as the voice became louder and closer.

He stopped at the edge of the corner and took another deep breath. He prepared himself and just as he was about to jump out, he heard evil laughter. His heart nearly jumped up to his throat and squirmed out of his mouth.

He frowned. He could take this! He was brave, strong, and in his mind, hansom.

After once again preparing himself, he got a firm of his sword and jumped out. He couldn't believe what he saw.

He saw his vocal cord.

"Hey, HitTheTarget ol' bud," it said putting it's feet up on its long chair and taking a sip of its piƱa collada. "Did ya miss me?"
