Green (AKA: What should have happened in the Cottage that day.)

by TimeAndLife21

As the three fairies were going along using their magic once more in the little cottage, they got to work.

Flora was working on the dress for Aurora, Fauna wanted to bake the cake, and Merryweather was stuck cleaning the cottage. But they were using magic again so it was all fine and well.

The stout Merryweather was having fun using her magic again even though it was a cleaning task, but either way she was enjoying dancing along with the mop as it was washing the floor.

The taller Flora was snipping and sewing away at the fabric to make a dress for a perfect princess. She wanted the princess to be even more beautiful than she was before.

The oldest fairy, Fauna was just happy enough to make a wonderful cake for the soon to be 16 year old princess. She even placed a finger under a cinnamon shaker to take a taste of it before the bowl was mixing up and was happy enough to make the princess's day even better.

As the three fairies continued along with their work, they fell back into a style of magic that they haven't used for 16 years. Unfortunately, a small tiff came between MerryWeather and Flora.

"Blue!"

"Pink!"

"Blue!"

"Pink!"

"Blue!"

"Pink!"

"BLUE!"

"PINK!"

As the two fairies were fighting over what color the dress for Aurora should be as well as shooting magic at the dress for their desired colors, there were two stray shots that hit Fauna turning her green clothes into a mismatch of pink and blue.

The two fairies paused in their little fight, halting all magic used, and turned to their oldest friend in fright.

Fauna turned around and had a blank look on her face before using her wand and shooting a green light at the dress. It tuned into a lovely emerald green as it was still working on the stitchings for it. It was almost completed.

"Green." She said coldly before she aimed her wand at herself and turned her clothes back into their normal green color.

She turned back to finish up the cake as the two fairies turned to each other and nodded their heads.

"Green is lovely." Flora said nervously.

"Yes, the princess would look perfect in green." Merryweather said as she turned back to clean up the cottage.

Fauna sighed as her two friends continued to work with their magic to clean the cottage and make the dress. There are just somedays that she has to step in and make a compromise. Today was one of this days. She happily continued to make the cake and was happy that it turned out so well.

After all, they wanted a party for their little princess to celebrate. What better way to do it than use magic to get things done.

TAL21: Had the chance to watch Sleeping Beauty and the scene when Merryweather and Flora were fighting over the colors made me laugh. I know Fauna is the kinder and more considerate fairy, but I think she would be quite frightful if you got on her bad side. XD As shown here, Flora and Merryweather both agreed on the emerald green dress so that their friend wouldn't turn on them and scolding them for being such children. I would imagine Fauna to be like a strict nanny to the younger fairies. Plus, I have always thought that Fauna was the eldest of the fairies. Sleeping Beauty is one of my favorite Disney movies and i love the animation, the music and the story itself, it never ceases to amaze me. XD So here's the One Shot and I hope you enjoyed it! Please leave awesome reviews! I love hearing from you guys! :D Take a look at my other One-Shots and leave reviews for them too! See you guys in the next One-Shot! :)

KEEP ON READING AND WRITING! :D
