Jemma meant everything to Victor. He protected her no matter what.

Which is why when Victor moved into his secret hideout, he took Jemma with him. He couldn't bare to see her without him. Their father wouldn't be able to handle her. So, despite his father's argument, he took Jemma when he moved.
And now, finally settled into their new home, Victor sat on the side of Jemma's bed, observing her closely. A smile spread across his face when he thought about how much she loved him.
