Merry Christmas from the Virtual Season 2 Family!

This short takes place between virtual episodes 11 and 12.

Twas the night before Christmas on a dark LA night
And the Mansion de Kostan, sparkled with light.
The freshie's were dressed up in fine fashion flair,
All satins and laces, bright bows in their hair.

Josef held court in his place by the tree,
Dispensing his snark and his wisdom for free.
And Beth in a new dress, her smile bright and sunny
Nestled in Mick's arms as he watched over his honey.

When out near the pool, there arose such a clatter,
The guests jostled and moved to see what was the matter.
Away to the window Josef flew like a flash,
Sure that a servant had cost him some cash.

The moon over the city filled it with light
And the guests circulated, enjoying the sight.
When what to their wondering eyes should appear,
But the VS2 writers, all bringing good cheer.

With episodes a plenty and shorts that would fill.
They brought a new season, no spoilers they'd spill.
On a bi-weekly schedule, the episodes they came,
They were sharing the Moonlight, continuing the game.

Oh, the romance, the danger, the secrets unending.
Mick and Beth together, apart. Are they pretending?
The Legion's so devious. The cullings begun
And Coraline's back to add to the fun.

Down from the rooftops and killing those close.
The Legion dispenses it hate, dose by dose.
Is Beth's blood a weapon? Or is it a cure?
She must be protected, of that Josef's sure.

So Oscar arrives to add vamp protection.
He follows and watches, despite Beth's objection.
DA Talbot confused, curious, wary.
The Legion's insistent he help find their quarry.

Despite all the obstacles, the Mick and Beth love grows.
Did they or didn't they? The writers won't disclose.
The readers should think of Josef, mouth drawn up like a bow.
He said "Write it. They'll read it and then they will know.

From LA to New York, excitement and romance.
Mick and Beth quiet times together. "May I have this dance?"
But complications and threats, the danger is growing.
Beth must disappear and the tears start flowing.

We're now in December, the Season of Cheer
And we've come forth to thank you for reading us here.
It's Moonlight we love and may we be doing it right.
