"Thanks, Mister!" Ruby waved back to the old man who she helped harvest crops with, Team RNJR had been helping with small deeds around an old town called Kayagori, they stopped there for a couple of nights to regain some energy for the hills ahead and to also gain some money as they were lacking in funds ever since the 'forgetful jaune' situation that happened a week ago. Ruby had just finished her chore and was going back to their hotel to see if anyone was back yet. On the way through the markets she spotted Nora and Ren up ahead buying some muffins, Ruby sneaked up behind Nora and poked her left shoulder whilst simultaneously moving to the right.
"Hello?" Nora whipped around only to find no one standing their, "Oh my gosh! Ren, their is a ghost...can you break a ghost's legs?" Nora squeaked, getting more high-pitched every syllable being said, Ren sighed " Nora, their is no such things as ghosts, and i don't think they have legs" Ruby appeared in front of Nora and with a little yelp from said person, all returned to normal and the onlooking bystanders went back to their daily activities. With a little conversation and the sun getting low, the three ventured back to their hotel.
Ruby was first to announce the elephant in the literal room...Jaune playing around with the rest of RNJR's weapons, except for Ruby, with which she used to harvest wheat and other crops. Nora piped up first "Jaune, what are you doing?", Jaune screamed the highest pitch a man could possibly make all the while trying to hide the fact he was just playing with his teammates weapons like a little kid, "Hey guys...what's up?" Jaune inwardly sighed from embarrassment but kept his cool on the outside, " Are you playing with our weapons?" Ren was the only one brave enough to ask this question, as he did not worry about hurting the boys masculinity, " Uh, maybe...?" Everything was silent for a solid 30 seconds until the very loud and very distinguishable yell of the one and only Nora boomed out to the small hotel room " Muffins solve everything!" and then after Jaune tried to digest the information that was just said he involuntarily digested a muffin.
The playful yelling, sounds of fighting and muffins being devoured by the bunch from Hotel Room 121 was the only thing that could be heard for the entire night.
And as the night slowly faded to morning, the irresponsible team RNJR up and bounced off to the Hills that were famed for claiming the lives of wandering huntsman and under-armoured students, but the only thing being claimed from this team were the arguments and exaggerated stories of their time at Beacon.
