Chapter 1: Tracer
Mike stared at his commander. He had been in the Army for 2 years and he was about to be shipped out to Iraq, but He had just found out that his shipment was about to change again back to the states.
"Yes, General?" He said as he reported to his General. He had heard the rumors but he had denied it. The rumor was that he was somehow related to some crime fighter named Michael Knight who had belonged to some shadow branch of the government years ago.
"Mike, your being transferred to Langley to a different branch of the Military," General Sam Elliot, Mike's mentor and friend said. The two had gotten to know each other since Mike signed up for the military some 2 years ago.
"What branch?" Mike asked, still at attention.
"From what I was told, it's a black ops mission, but your training will be in Langley, Virgina," General Elliot said. In walked an older man dressed in a business suit.
"I'd like to introduce Dr. Charles Graiman, President and CEO of Knight Industries, the company that built the machine you're going to be paired with on this special Ops is a very special prototype that we've been trying to get built for the military for some time. You were picked due to Military background. That prototype is waiting for you in Langley," General Elliot said. Charles shook hands with Mike.
"Welcome aboard, Mike," Charles said. Mike nodded. "This will also release you from your Military obligations. Your being honorably discharged from the Military, but if you ever need to be reactivated back into the military, just give me a call," General Elliot said first saluting the man and he then extended his hand. Mike returned the salute, then shook his friend's hand.
"What is this prototype, Mr. Graiman?" Mike asked. Charles just smiled.
"You'll see him in Langley," Charles said...
