Rin and Shippo cried out in joy. Santa was going to come to their house! Of course, that was what they THOUGHT. Their so called "santa" was actually their father, Sesshoumaru dressed in a red suit with a fake beard. The children raved about getting the presents they wanted from Santa to their mother, Kagome.
When they were herded into bed, Rin, being the older one, carefully tiptoed back out, hoping to spend more time with Santa, and receive more presents. She saw her mother walk down the hallway and stop under a mistletoe. Santa walked up to her and they locked lips. Rin's eyes widened and she quickly closed the door she was peeking out of. She jumped onto Shippo's bed and woke him up.
"Rinnnnn. It's late and I'm TIRED. What do you want?" Shippo said, huffing at his big sister for waking him up from his sleep.
"Rin- I- I saw mommy kissing Santa!!!" She stuttered, her eyes wide. Shippo's eyes widened considerably.
"Are- are you sure Rin? 'cause sometimes you don't tell the truth!" Shippo whispered. Rin narrowed her brown, doe-like eyes.
"If you don't believe me, lok for yourself!" she said, pointing to their door leading to the hallway she saw "santa" kissing her mommy. So Shippo wanting to see if it were true or not, pulled back the covers and jumped out of his bed. He opened the door just enough to see outside and down the hall, and there indeed, stood their mommy kissing Santa Claus. His eyes widened even more.
"DADDYYYYYY!!! MOMMYS KISSING SANTA CLAUS!!!!!" He screamed. Kagome and "Santa" stopped lip locking and turned to them. "Santa" left the hallway and walked into a guest room to take off the fake beard and the red suit and replace them with his own sleepware. Kagome picked Shippo up and Sesshoumaru came out and picked up Rin.
"Daddy!!! I SAW MOMMY KISSING SANTA CLAUS!!!" the children said simultaneously. Sesshoumaru and Kagome shared a knowing look.
"If you say so kids. If you say so." Kagome said.
Yea, I like short stories and song fics. This one came to me while I was eating brumch this morning. I hope you liked it!!
