This is just a little romantic poem I wrote about the love between Neo and Trinity. So without further ado!
Never Let You Go
What would I do without you?
I don't really know
So I will never let it happen
Never let you go
I love you more than life itself
I see you in my dream
To feel you slowly fade away
Makes me want to scream
The brush of hair against my face
The angle of your head
Allows me to relax my mind,
Let all my fears be shed
To feel your breath along my ear,
To gaze into your soulful eyes
I know the Machines can be defeated
I can end their awful lies
You gave me strength, you gave me courage
You brought me back to life
You told me that you loved me
You carried me through the strife
I am The One because of you
This honor and this curse
And so because of who I am
You suffer for the worse
I can't protect you all the time
No matter how I try
One time I'll arrive a moment late
But you will have to die
So, you haunt me every night
with worry and with love
I am anchored to my dreams
While you rise above
What would I do without you?
