He was just a nobody. He didn't feel, he wasn't supposed to exist in the first place. Yet there was the pain, and it was real, and it stayed even when Roxas left him.

For the longest time he tried to forget, tried to pretend to be angry. After all, he couldn't really feel anything in the first place, so why did he care that Roxas left? All he was used for was the hearts the needed to be whole. That's what he was there for the whole time, and that was all. That's what he told himself. And then, then he saw Sora.

The boy looked at him, looked right into who he used to be, and it was the same look. Those were the same eyes, the eyes he was powerless against. Ocean deep with the blue that pierced you to look for your best, he coudlnt fight them. You can't fight water with fire, after all. Those eyes challenged him, they cut him up and spat him out.

He knew, the moment he saw those eyes, there was no going back. The orginization didn't matter. Kingdom Hearts didn't matter. Nothing but getting Roxas to shine through at him through those eyes mattered.

He was a nobody. He wasn't supposed to feel. He wasn't supposed to align with somebodies. But he did feel, for what he could tell. He felt hope, and light inside every time he saw those eyes. He felt love, and felt loved. He would stop at nothing.

The orginization began to die out, and they began to get desperate. They didn't care who was killing heartless anymore. If it was Sora not Roxas, that didn't matter. What did matter was that they were finally so close to being whole. He wouldn't be whole until he could find Roxas, and tell him everything he never got to say. Kingdom Hearts no longer could help him.

In their efforts, Sora began to question himself, and everything he was doing. Just like Roxas he didn't want to help them anymore, be he didn't know how to get rid of the heartless any other way. Again there was pain. It was there, it was real, and all he wanted was to tell Roxas, and make it go away.

Sora was in trouble. He was caught in the world between worlds, and he knew it was his fault. The nobodies, the dusks, they came out of nowhere. They were never ending. Something had to be done, Roxas coudlnt die, not in any form. No matter what, Axel wouldn't let that happen.

The rage, the love, the pain, taking one last look at Sora, he let them out. In one effort to protect those eyes, the one thing left of Roxas, he gave himself.

Looking into those blue orbs, he saw it. That one glimpse, Roxas reaching out to him. A smile to his face as he stared on into them. "You know, you look just like him."

Axel was a nobody. He couldn't feel, he wasn't supposed to exist. He did, and then he didn't.
