Hey guys I'm back after possibly the longest break ever. Look a Chlerek! Kind of…. Disclaimer: I don't actually own any of this; mostly it's Kelley Armstrong's and anything that is of my own creation, feel free to take ideas from or something. This story is set 5 years after they defeated the Edison Group… Chloe is now 21. This will mostly be written in Chloe's POV, but I may do some of Derek's, but that will be to be kind of rare and anyone else will have to be by request and I'll need some help with that.
Life didn't turn out like I always thought it would. I'm not a famous director; I'm not actually a director at all. After we defeated the Edison Group, everything changed. My Aunt Lauren was dead, so they (Kit, Simon, Derek, and Tori) dropped me off a block from my house so I could finally see my dad again. Little did anyone know he was dead… died from a brain aneurysm two months before. Anyway, now I own a famous pharmaceutical company and I haven't spoken to any of them in about 4 and a half years. Tori and I kept in contact for a while, but life got in the way and things fell apart. Simon used to call… not anymore.
I was in town (New York) on business (I had a big conference) and was in this little park when I saw this little boy wandering around obviously lost, so I decided to take care of him until his parents came back and found him. Unfortunately, I can recognize a werewolf when I see one, even if he was like three. Werewolves have this code when dealing with humans, only ever eat or ask for a third to a sixth of what you want. So when he asked for two hot dogs I ordered him six. A large fry, I ordered three. Small milkshake, two large one. You get the point.
When his dad came back and saw all the food, he flipped out thinking his son had done wrong. I didn't want him persecuting the little boy for no reason, so I told him that it was fine, I knew what he was. Well, that didn't go over so well. Now I'm sitting in the back of a van all tied up (okay I used to be tied up, I decided to untie myself) headed for Syracuse, the Pack's headquarters.
