A/N: Written for spif23, because she rocks. Happy holidays, hon! Isaac is Skittery; Gabriel is Itey (names stolen from "Someone Out There" and "EYDW", respectively. If you haven't read them yet, do). Guess what? That Javid fic I've been talking about? Finished! I just have to type up the first part, which is at home, where I am not. But it's finished! The second chapter of elevator is giving me trouble, but I'll push through. Then I have a fic I've been promising my friend. Once that's done, I will be through with all my fic obligations. I'm planning to have them all up before the end of the year. If I can do that, I will be very happy - and productive (at least, by my standards). Anyway, enough of me blabbing. Enjoy the holiday fluff!

Update 6/28/2010: This story won two awards at the NYNA! They were 2nd place for Best Slash (right behind EYDW, no less; I'm honored), and 3rd place for Best Itey. Yipee!

If there was one thing Gabriel loved, it was ice cream. Even in the winter, when others would deem ice cream inedible because of freezing temperatures, he would devour pint after pint in every flavor imaginable. Isaac had tried many times to convince him that eating ice cream in the winter wasn't a good idea, especially with their apartment being so cold, but Gabriel would never listen. Isaac decided that it was time for a new approach.

He stopped by the Starbucks on his way home from work, picking up two venti signature hot chocolates with extra whipped cream. Opening up the door he called, "Gabe, I'm home!" then walked to the living room in the back. He found Gabriel sitting on the couch watching a "Frosty the Snowman", a pint of phish food on his lap.

Isaac sat down on the couch beside his boyfriend, placing the hot chocolate on the coffee table. "Hey, Gabe," he said, poking him in the arm, "how would you like to stop eating that ice cream and try something new? Something even better?"

Gabriel looked over at him. "What is it?"

Issac picked up one of the cups, holding it aloft as if it were a holy object. "Hot chocolate!"

Gabriel gave him a look. "Isaac..."

"Gabe, it's delicious! You'll love it, promise."

"Isaac..."

"C'mon, you haven't even tried it! Eating ice cream in the winter can't be good for you; besides, this has whipped cream on top and it tastes like melted chocolate ice cream - sorta..."

"Isaac..."

"At least give a chance, Gabe! You might even-"

"Isaac! It's leaking!"

"What?" Isaac looked at the cup to find the contents dripping onto the couch. He jumped up, causing the cap of the drink to fly off and the rest of the hot chocolate and whipped cream to slosh out all over the front to his shirt. "Ah! It burns!"

Gabriel grabbed the cup from Isaac's hand and ran to the kitchen to get some paper towels while Isaac tried to get his shirt off without letting the burning liquid touch him anymore than it already had.

When he returned, Gabriel sopped up the hot chocolate and looked up to find his boyfriend struggling with his shirt. He stood up and helped Isaac take it off, placing the shirt on the table on top of some paper towels. He took Isaac's hot chocolate-covered hand, bringing it to his mouth and licking the hot chocolate off one of the fingers.

"Mmm, you're right, Isaac, this stuff is delicious." He smirked.

By the time they were ready to enjoy the second hot chocolate, it was cold.
