Eroe de Viallin

A grittier re-telling of Wizard101's Malistaire plot

Rating: T+ for violence and suggestive themes.

Rating likely to go up.

Prologue

"A hero. A person, male or female, who displays extraordinary power and possesses an extraordinary heart, who has qualities such as justice, selflessness, love, honor. Someone who has accomplished numerous great deeds for the benefit of others." (Source: Times Past: Collection of Heroics)

Anyone will say that when asked to define what a hero is. By that definition, the hero can accomplish whatever needs to be done on their own.

That, however, is only one definition.

Here is another:

"Who is average but tries to go beyond what they are capable for the benefit of others? He is not always decorated and loved for his achievements, but he is a hero all the same." (Source: The Times and Thoughts of Edward B. Skullcrush)

And another:

"Anyone and everyone who saves a life or spirit in some way is called a hero." (Source: Titles of Deprivation)

In essence, in the simplest form, two of these three definitions in their vaguity show this: a hero can be self-named, self-thought. From that, villains are birthed.

AN: Super short for a prologue, but I hope it catches someone's attention. Following chapters will, at the very least, be 2000 words each.
