"Rory," Tristan whispered.
It was a raining day. The younger Gilmore had wanted to surprise the boy she loved but boy was she surprised.
Rory said in sharp voice, "NO!"
The pain in her voice was clearly evident from what had happened exactly one month ago. Ever since that little trip to visit him neither of them had been the same. Lorelai tried to help by making her wallow but that only backfired on her. Even Luke tried helping by offering more coffee than usual. While that was happening in the little town of Stars Hallow, down in North Carolina a certain Dugrey seemed to be reverting back to his old ways. Drinking more than enough alcohol and countless one night stands.
Flashback
"SURPRISE!" screamed Rory.
"Tristan, baby, what's going on out there?" asked an intoxicated girl where almost nothing.
"Rory please listen to me. It's not what you think," claimed Tristan but the door was already slammed before he knew it.
End Flashback
Ever since that incident, Tristan was trying to contact her in some way. To young boy's disappointment he did not succeed in any way. He tried doing everything he could but considering he was in North Carolina with little to no funding it was hard for the boy. He sent letters, e-mails, and handpicked flowers. He was getting desperate and he had tried his last resort. He had hitchhiked his way to Stars Hallow.
"Why can't you just leave me alone?" Rory asked in a barely audible voice.
"Rory. Just listen and give me a chance to explain. Please," Tristan asked desperately.
Rory yelled, "WHY?! SO YOU CAN HURT ME EVEN MORE THAN YOU DID?"
By now both of them are up at their feet and screaming.
"Rory! That girl was drunk when me and a few guys went down to go get a few drinks. Her friends had ditched her. What else was I supposed to do? I wasn't going to leave her there all alone! So I did what I thought was right. She just started to jump me. I don't want her! You want to know why?! Well I'll tell you its because I LOVE YOU! Okay? I. TRISTAN. DUGREY. LOVE. RORY. GIL -"
Before he could ever finish that sentence he was all of a sudden kissed. Everything that they had built up during that month was released. The kiss was passionate and full of love.
"I love you too," said Rory.
All of a sudden from outside you could hear Face Down by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. The two looked at each other.
Tristan asked, "Rory Gilmore will you dance with me?"
Without an answer the two started waltzing in living room of the Gilmore residence without a care in the world. The two finally found their way to eachother again.
