She's nothing in this space, a tiny flicker of yellow and black against the canvas of gensokyo, the green green grass laps at her ankles, the wind soft against her face, and all at once she knows everything's gonna be alright.
With her right hand she stretches up smiling softly at the gleaming black sky galaxies seeming to curl between her fingers.
Must be magic, she thinks.
The lull of the green waves sets her away until all she can think of is how the earth beneath her is warm, and the hair on her head is soft.
She falls away…
… only to be brought back by a disturbance in the wind.
Marisa smiles up at her friend, a silhouette against the moon.
'What are you doing here all alone?' reimu asks her arms crossed, those burning eyes sharp.
'Thinkin up suspicious plans'
'Didn't know you had thoughts' she says dropping to the ground next to her
'You bring sake?'
'No.'
'Awww you suck reimu'
'And you're a spoilt brat.' she sighs scooting closer
Marisa smiles nuzzling against her shoulder she wraps an arm around her waist.
Their heartbeats slow.
The rise and fall of their lungs nearly imperceivable so deep is their slumber.
So the night drifts past totally unaware of the sleeping couple nestled against the arms of the earth.
