This couldn't be true. This can't be. It just can't. He can't be gone, not now, not ever. He was supposed to be here with me, smiling and laughing. He was supposed to be to one that I would love for the rest of my life. But he was gone, dead. I would never be in his arms again, kiss his lips, and hear his voice. It was all gone, and it would never come back. How could this be possible? Why?
Hermione looked outside the window, where the wind blew with all its force. Tears were falling down her cheeks as she remembered the boy she loved, and could never forget. He had been gone for a year, but she couldn't forget him. His grey eyes, his blonde hair and his soft lips. She loved everything about him, and she could never be his again.
Hermione looked at the picture in her hand. The last picture taken of him. A week before he died in her arms. How could life change so fast? In one second, he was gone, and she was left alone, to try to get through the pain that was in her chest, constantly. She would never get rid of it, no matter what. But she had found a way. But that meant that she would leave everyone she loved, in pain. But she couldn't suffer anymore. She couldn't take it anymore, she had to leave. Hermione stepped out of her room, and made her way down the stairs and out of the castle. It was her last year at Hogwarts, but she had barely gone to the classes. She knew that she wasn't supposed to be in this world anymore. She walked in the rain, till she got to the lake, which was black. She looked at the aggressive waves, and decided that this would be the way she left. She took of her shoes and robe, and stood there in her shirt and skirt. She stepped out in the water and shivered when the cold water hit her feet, but she continued walking, until the water reached her waist. Then she heard him, speaking to her.
"Don't do it! Keep living, for me." He pleaded, but Hermione knew that she couldn't keep on living, not when he wasn't here.
"I can't." She whispered, but she didn't move.
"Please. You can't leave. You have to stay. Think of Harry and Ron, your best friends." Hermione eyes were filled with tears, and they started to fall down her cheeks.
"I can't live in a world without you. You have to understand." Now it was her turn to plead, and she looked out in the water. She took a step forward and then another.
"Hermione, don't do it!" He was now screaming, and that made Hermione stop.
"You don't understand Draco. I have to do this. I can't suffer anymore, it's too painful." Her chest started burning, and it was hard for her to breath. She took a few more steps, and her head was now under water. She opened her eyes, and didn't care of the burning in her eyes, and chest. She could now see his features, as the perfect man he was. She reached out her hand, and could feel his warm hands, as she touched it.
"I need to be with you." She thought and he replied in her head.
"You will, but not now. You will go on in your life, and forget me."
"How could I forget? How can I forget my love for you, my desires of being with you forever?" Hermione started to get angry, and then it hit her.
"You don't want me anymore do you?"
"I wouldn't want anyone but you, but I don't want you to die." He whispered, and his perfect face was in pain, as his grey eyes looked into her brown ones. Her mind started drifting of, like if she was about to go to sleep, but she new, that this was the end. Or, the beginning, where she could be with her love forever. She looked at him for the last time with a smile on her face, before she was gone. Her face was peaceful, as if she was asleep. But she would never open her eyes again, and she was forever gone to be with her love.
