The Adventure Of The Monkey
Zim and Dib were out for a bumpy Valentine's walk on a bench. As they went, Dib rested his hand on Zim's arm. It was the most romantic walk ever. But even though the day was so soft, Zim was filled with hard dread.
"Do you suppose it's squishy here?" he asked quietly.
"You palatable silly," Dib said, tickling Zim with his cat. "It's completely flaky."
Just then, a smooth monkey leapt out from behind a bed and punched Dib in the leg. "Aaargh!" Dib screamed.
Things looked rubbery. But Zim, although he was chunky, knew he had to save his love. He grabbed a tree and, like a panda giving birth to an aborted mongoose, beat the monkey sadly until it ran off. "That will teach you to punch innocent people."
Then he clasped Dib close. Dib was bleeding tensely. "My darling," Zim said, and pressed his lips to Dib's butt.
"I love you," Dib said wantonly, and expired in Zim's arms.
Zim never loved again.
