Watching the world crumble around me,
Only a few understand and care,
They will fight for the cause.
When will the rest of the world see?
Evil threatens to distort what we know.
We will fight though, fight for freedom,
The war will be long and hard.
Fear will grip our hearts once more, we won't let it show.
We shall be brave and strong,
Many will be lost, I know.
I dread the thought of lives lost in vain,
We shall fight for what is right, destroy what is wrong.
Life will change as we know it,
All our hope rests on a mere boy.
I shan't think about it now, it will come soon enough,
For now, I'll be in my office and just sit.
The plans are set and ready,
We must be prepared for anything.
We must stay safe,
We must hold steady.
