A boy lie awake in his room. He couldn't fall asleep. Not with the girl of his dreams on his mind.
The boy looked over at his roommate, who was sound asleep in his bed. He got up and left the room, going down the stairs and out into the night air.
He walked into the forest on the edge of the Kadic Academy campus. After walking for a while he sat down on a tree.
"Why did she have to choose him over me? What's he got that I don't?" he asked himself.
"He asked her out first. Its as simple as that." A voice said. The boy looked toward the voice. It was one of his best friends. Jeremy Belpois.
"What do you want, Jeremy?" the boy asked.
