This is super-shot and I am sorry for that!
I took inspiration (And dialogue) from four different moments in the comics that I love between these two and merged them together into one (potentially crappy) one-shot.
Disclaimer: I don't own Alex, Lorna nor the dialogue or X-Men (Or anything else I could be sued for!)

"Lorna?" His shout could be heard from a mile away "Lorna are you here?"
Alex Summers had just returned from his most dangerous mission with X-Men to date, he and his brother Scott had been declared 'Missing in action' and 'presumed dead' and due to this not being true, he was now running frantically around the base trying to find the women he once described as a 'Green haired goddess' and this she was indeed.
"Alex?" He heard the confused sound of her voice before he saw her, rounding the corner to where she stood waiting, his Lorna.
He smiles cockily at her "Hi beautiful"
She returned his smile enthusiastically, launching herself into his open arms "Alex! I thought... I thought..." She whispered in his ear.
"I love you more than anything" He told her as they pulled away from the embrace.
She smiled "Marry me Alex, please marry me!" she asked as several other members of the X-Men rounded the corner.
"Whoa" they heard from someone's - probably Beast's - mouth.
"Shouldn't I be the one asking you?" He replied.
Lorna looked to him "Is that a no?" She asked getting defensive.
Alex laughed "it is most definitely a 'yes'" he told her as he pulled her in towards his body, kissing her quickly "Wanna hear about my mission?"
Lorna pulled him back to her "Tell me tomorrow..." She instructed "kiss me tonight"
