A Spotted Coat and an Eye

"Welcome to this rather hideous, ratty old mansion you're so surprisingly interested in, Gunther! " said its owner.

"Thank you very much, please, Miss Ella, for this tour." Said Gunther.

"Won't you come in? After coming from, where was it you were from again? Poland? Estonia," Ella asks, "Where ever you're from, come in to view this retched place!" She steps aside, and then begins the tour of this old, rundown mansion.

"These drapes could be changed, please, like this stained rug. It needs fresh air-"

"Marvelous darling, simply marvelous. But I'm more than certain you can do all that once it's signed over to you. "Says Ella as she leads him into the Great Ballroom, earning snippets of comments about the floors and how scuffed up they are, 'Will need polish and elbow grease'. Gunther says. 'The chairs will need to be removed, very bad smelling please'. This goes on as they walk through the mansion, all through the breakfast room, the dining room, pantry, service and servant wing, forcing them to cut through the east belvedere and into the garden.

"Dirt's been messed up, will need undoing, all the plants have taken hostage to this place! Vines like a vineyard, but no wine, roots of the trees showing! Please Miss Ella, why has this place co.. Fallen!?" asked Gunther.

"Darling, I've warned you about this old rubbish heap. I've told you all about the state of things here though those letters, all about how all this used to be the grandest of the grand. Once belonging to an heiress of London herself, but alas, my darling Gunther! She let it fall into disrepair!" Dramatically placing the back of her hand to her forehead, as if to check for a fever.

"Miss Ella, why did she-"

"I know I've told about this, darling, but rumor has it she was a fur enthusiast, much like myself," taking a breath for a moment, adjusting her lovely spotted coat, "but never like me, I tell you! All her beloved furs took to dry rot! As well as her luxurious mansion! She failed to store them properly, I tell you!"

"You did, Miss Ella, she was as careless as you have said, please, continue our marvelous tour."

Laughing, Ella happily complied with his request, pulling her strangely spotted coat around herself tighter, she leads them to the terrace, its stone flooring cracked and dirty, filthy, rotted seating chairs and table. Once upon a time, it had been a great place, but now, it's the mansion of mold, dust, peeling wallpaper, and ruined furniture.

Once their long, extensive tour was finished, Gunther gave Ella the brightest of grins, "It's more than I imagined Miss Ella, please, I will buy!"
