„Why is this so much work?"
Kirara leaned back in her chair, absolutely exhausted. On the table in front of her were various lists, as well as designs for dresses and loads of other paperwork. She had been working on all this for hours, but it never got any less.

Letting out a sigh, she took her eyes off the seemingly endless workload.
Her hand wandered up towards her small necklace and opened it. Inside, there were two photos: one of her parents, who were always supporting her in her career. The other one was of her admired Elza, always encouraging her to challenge herself. That much was pretty well-known among her fans. What they didn't know about was the third picture, hidden behind the one of Elza; shown on it was another idol, the one she saw online a few years ago, the one who inspired her to take the path of idols.
And sometimes, when she was feeling overwhelmed by work, just like now, she would look at this last one to get a fresh boost of motivation. And now, her hand was moving again, about to unveil the hidden picture and-

"Slacking off again?""Kya!" The sudden voice behind her back made her jump in surprise. Letting the trinket disappear I her hand, she turned around to her friend. "Ako-chan, don't scare me like that..."
The other girl gave her a stern look. "Are you done with the preparations?"
Kirara made a pouty face. "Buuuut...it's so much..."

Ako shook her head. "Take a look around you. What do you see?"
Kirara did as she was told. But no matter how hard she tried, she could not discover anything special.
"I don't see anything special, it's just your room and..."
"Exactly!" Ako was a bit angry now. "You wanted to do this event! You were the one who was all 'Let's make this the best ever for Elza-sama!' And now you're like this? I went along with all your ideas and even let you use my room for your preparations, and now you want to slack off?"

She took a deep breath, enough to calm down a little. "Think about your fans and the ones who support you a bit, will you?"
"Sorry..." Kirara turned back to her work, "I'm just a little tired..."
Ako sighed and turned away. "Wait here."
"Where are you going?"
The other girl looked back over her shoulder. "I'll make us some hot chocolate and help you then."
"Really?" Kirara was smiling brightly at Ako's idea. "Thank you~"
