Author's Note:This song gave me a spacey sorta feeling, so I turned it into a fanfic. Please review and enjoy. (Keeping in mind its not the greatest thing I ever wrote.)
Earth below us
Shuichi felt like he was floating. Shuichi had bugged Yuki all night for him to dance. Finally, to Eiri's dismay, he finally forced himself from the couch. Shuichi had bugged Yuki all night for him to dance. Finally, due to Yuki's desire to keep at least one piece of his sanity, he agreed. The couple was in Yuki's living room. Shuichi had put on a Nittle Grasper video, and the music filled the large room. Shuichi had a vision of him and Yuki somewhere in space, looking down at the earth. He didn't see this as a strange thing. The vision might have been the product of a number of things: Shuichi's sense of security at the moment, doing something with the man he loved, and the slow melody of the playing song.
Drifting, falling
Sometime during their slow dance, Shuichi felt Yuki loosen up. He could feel the blonde man fall more easily into step with him. He looked up at Yuki's face, and he swore that there was a warm smile planted there. This, of course, melted Shuichi's heart at once. He had that spacey feeling again, as if he were floating through space. He pretended that he could see the stars surrounding him.
Floating weightless
The feeling continued for what seemed forever. Shuichi imagined that there was nothing but Yuki and he, staring into each other's eyes. They were alone in the universe. Shuichi was too busy feeling loved for once, but there were a few questions nagging at the back of his mind. This sort of pulled him away from the vision. He hardly ever smiles like that…so why now? Why is he being so nice right now? The only other time is during sex…
Coming Home…
Shuichi stopped dancing abruptly. Yuki almost stumbled over him. "What did you do that for brat?" Yuki asked sternly. The warm smile never returned to Yuki's face. This pulled the nineteen year old completely from his fantasy. He was coming home…back to earth… "You wanted to dance, so come on." The novelist nagged softly. "Yuki…" Shuichi felt a few tears drop from his eyes. "Oh fer…" Yuki started to mumble. Shuichi's thrusting himself violently into Yuki for a hug made him jump. Shuichi's pink hair pressed against his shirt. Eiri sighed and held the back of Shuichi's head. "What is it now?" he asked quietly. Shuichi said nothing, and continued to hold on to Yuki tightly.
Please tell me what you think.
If you've ever actually heard this song(its 80's-I love 80's,and I was born in nineties!) -well, I don't know how you'd feel. When the chorus (especially at the end) kicks in, I now just get a picture of Yuki and Shuichi staring into each other's eyes. Hmm.
