"Wuuuu-" Akatsuki moaned, noticing how close Hibiki's face was to hers. She nearly couldn't believe it but she was never one to doubt her sight. It was obvious what her shipmate was trying to do, and immediately her legs turned to jelly. "Are you trying to kiss me, Hibiki!?" she asked, both brazenly but at the same time still a bit sheepishly.

Akatsuki expected some sort of deep reply, at least some sort it'll explanation of some kind but was disappointed as Hibiki only nodded. "Yes," she said.
"Ahhhhhhh-" Akatsuki found she could only moan and mumble incoherently, unable to register her friend's brazen admission, apparently absent of anything resembling shame or remorse.

But Hibiki didn't seem to notice, or at least she didn't care. "What's wrong with that?" she asked.

"What's wrong!?" Akatsuki asked, completely stunned.

"What's wrong!?"

She waited for some sort of registration in her friend's eyes which she now realized were a beautiful and deep shade of cerulean blue, as deep as the ocean they sailed on every day. But when nothing popped out of those seas, she decided to explain.

"Because," she said, interrupting herself with a brief cough to cover her embarrassment, "proper ladies don't kiss proper ladies..."

Hibiki didn't respond, at least not with words. She moved back in close to her, looking at her intently with those beautiful ocean-blue eyes of hers, shimmering just as the sea would from the sun above. Akatsuki leaned back but she found herself unable to go very far. A part of her refused to, wouldn't let her move.

Now that she had her under her power, Hibiki clutched her chin delicately, causing a soft moan from the confused girl's mouth.

"Well, then, if that's the cost," Hibiki said to her, full of purpose, "then I don't want to be a proper lady." She followed this renouncing with a light, passionate kiss on Akatsuki's lips.

Akatsuki could still feel it on her lips even after she had receded; the warm, glowing feeling of Hibiki's contact. It felt good, felt proper.

"Well, then," she said, "maybe there can be some exceptions…"
