Frodo sat in Valinor, remembering Samwise the Brave
Sometimes I feel down and out
I feel sort of blue
But I know you're always here for me
And so I turn to you.
Sam, you've always been there
You'd go wherever I went
You keep me warm, keep me safe
You're an angel heaven sent.
You're always willing to help me
Whatever I say or do
Sometimes I find myself thinking
Where would I be without you?
I remember the time at the council
You crept in, thinking you'd hide
You came out, said you'd come with me
And you never once left my side.
To the very end you stuck by me
Right to the mountain of Fire
Gollum, he stole it off me
But then you always did call him "Liar."
I should have trusted you all along
But I was corrupted by that thing
It was good that Gollum took it off me
For I couldn't have destroyed that Ring.
I knew I had to leave you
I was ill, you knew it too
All along, it was something I'd known
The hardest thing? Leaving you.
Now I sit here all alone
Remembering times gone by
It's beautiful here, you'd love it
Watching the birds fly by.
How long I've waited for this day
You'll no longer be just my past
Excited I run to embrace you
Reunited, together at last.
Oh Sam, how much I've missed you
And you came on a special date
My birthday, oh Sam how I love you
My brother, friend, Soul mate.
