Very few people in the world can tell if they found the one.
When Ben met Lindsay, he never thought they would go that far.
Other girls would be repulsed by his love of the Red Sox, but Lindsay was the one who made the effort. Even going as far as buying books to learn about the baseball team.
No one ever stepped into his world for him before. She entered into the realm of this apartment that was the 'gift shop', and they were like two little kids. Exploring the unknown together.
It was always like this. Ask a girl out, spend a few nights with her, then they'd go their separate ways. Maybe seeing each other as friends along the way.
But he blew it with Lindsay.
The greatest moment of the Red Sox happened, and he wasn't a part of it. What made him say those horrible words to the person he cared about so much?
He found himself all alone again. No one but him in his own little world. But he was always lonely and she was the only one who saw that.
She saw him better than anyone, and accepted all of him… and what did he repay her with?
So many people walked out on him… There was no chance he was gonna let her go.
