TITLE: *Full Moon Wo Sagashite* (Mitsuki's Point Of View) Chapter One

AUTHOR: Talia D. Forester

Once upon a time there was a girl named Mitsuki Kouyama who dreamed to find a very special friend of hers named Eichi who moved to America 6 years ago when she was 6 years old. Mitsuki lived in Japan and was now 12 years old, Mitsuki always dreamed of becoming a singer, hoping that way she would find Eichi since he knew her tone of voice. Mitsuki was smart enough to think what would happen if Eichi had forgotten her tone of voice. Luckily Mitsuki thought of writing a song including Eichi's name. Mitsuki decided she had nothing else to worry about but school. On a late afternoon Mitsuki had gotten ready for bed after having a delicious dinner that her maid prepared for her. Mitsuki could still feel the flavor in her tongue of her favorite dessert also prepared from her maid. Mitsuki did have a family member living with her, it was her grandmother. Mitsuki loved her grandmother even though she didn't think her grandmother thought the same about her, it made her feel a little bit sad but that didn't stop her from doing anything she loved and cared about. Mitsuki was about to wash her dishes but then her maid stopped her and said "Oh Mitsuki, you don't need to wash your dishes honey, that's what I'm here for" and smiled at Mitsuki. Mitsuki was about to say something that made her feel concerned but instead she said "Yeah, good night" and went to her room. Mitsuki turned off the lights and went to bed, thinking about what her maid said about only being here to wash her dishes, laundry and other things ordinary maids do when hired. Mitsuki always saw her maid more than just a maid, she saw her as a generous, kind, friendly, and important person to her. Mitsuki wanted to know if her maid thought the same about her, she didn't have to; all she wanted to know is if she at least cared about her and her grandmother as well. Mitsuki decided to try to find out on the weekends when she didn't have school or homework to do. Later that night Mitsuki started dreaming about standing on a stage singing in front of a crowd, as she sang she started enjoying the feeling of being able to sing on a stage in front of an elated crowd cheering and singing along with her. Was this what it felt like singing in front of a crowd? Mitsuki loved this moment more than any other moment she ever felt in her life before, she loved it too much she didn't want it to end...
