Emmy is inside her taxi ready to go back to her headquarters. It's been a while since she's revealed to be a Targent agent that has a mission to keep a close eye on Professor Layton, and now that this mission is over, she has no reason to stay with him.
Suddenly, her ride gets into a halt when a group of people show in front of the driver.
"What the...?" she asked upon noticing they're running after her.
"Ms. Altava!" one man exclaimed, calling out for her.
"There she is!" another man exclaimed.
"It's the press from the overseas on that magazine I was in one time!" Emmy immediately recognizes the group. "How did you know where to find me?!"
"We got a call from Professor Layton!" the reporter answered.
"If I don't get more pages from you, I'm going to be in big trouble!" another reporter added.
"You're not the only one!" the hurried reporter also added.
"We're here for your latest report on what you just did!"
As a result, Emmy is being forced out of her cab to make the reports for the press while looking frustrated. Therefore, her ride back to her headquarters is being postponed.
"It looks like Professor Layton and his kid assistant got you back," the driver remarked.
"Why, those two...!" Emmy stated the obvious with a frustrated look on her face.
In this headquarters, Layton is seeing what is happening by his telescope, and Luke is beside him to see this.
"Just a friendly payback for being a Targent agent to keep a close eye on me," the former remarked.
"And for taking me hostage with an ice spike," the latter added while it's his turn to look at the telescope.
"Nevertheless, a good friend if you ask me."
"Yeah, I think so, too."
The two went inside of their headquarters to get ready for their next case.
