Parker And The Baby
"Sorry for doing this to you Parker on such short notice" Kayo said; as she put on her jacket over her dress. "Yeah Parker sorry about this really we all are" Scott said coming up behind his wife. "It's fine you two stop worrying already" Parker said to the two of them. "Isn't that right Danny" Parker cooed at the baby who gurgled at him in return. "So are we already to go everyone?" Virgil asked the entire Tracy clan including Brains was going a fancy gala or something or other. Brains was going because Professor Moffat was going to be there and he certainly didn't want to miss that. But Lady Penelope Creighton- Ward was going to be their also so that just left Parker. Parker didn't mind because it gave him something to do; and besides Lady Penelope didn't mind lending him to the Tracy's for tonight.
After bidding the entire Tracy clan good night; the rest of the night went off without a hitch. Parker played with and occasionally changed and fed little Danny Tracy. As eight o'clock rolled around Parker noticed Danny getting tired. Turning the television down low Parker smiled softly and picked up a very sleepy Danny Tracy. "Let's get you to bed ummmmm" Parker said to the baby; he received no reply because Danny was already fast asleep with his head on Parker's shoulder. Looked at the baby once again and smiled before leaving the Tracy living room; and making his way to Danny's nursery. Parker then kissed the baby on the forehead before placing the baby in his crib. But as Parker attempted to place Danny in his crib he began to fuse right away; much to Parker's dismay. But as soon as he picked Danny up and held him to his chest the baby stopped fusing. This surprised Parker a bit who then attempted to put Danny back into the crib and immediately Danny began to get fussy again. After many unsuccessful attempts at putting Danny down for the night. Parker just sighed and cradled Danny Tracy to his chest once again. "Ok fine have it your way you win" Parker said softly to the now sleeping baby in his arms. Parker then left the nursery once again for the living room.
Sometime later that night the rest of the Tracy clan returned Brains included he couldn't stop talking about his dance with crush Professor Moffat. All the Tracy clan could hear as they entered the living room was the television playing something softly in the background. Scott made his way into the living room to turn the television off; and that's when something caught Scott's eye and it was his and Kayo's son on top of Parker's chest fast asleep. Even Parker himself was fast asleep on the couch so Scott took the opportunity to wake him up. As the rest of the Tracy's and Brains turned in for the night Kayo went to check on Danny and to her horror Danny wasn't in his crib. Fearing the worst Kayo ran back into the living room to find her husband Scott.
Lucky for Kayo though she found Scott talking to Parker who had Danny in his arms. Meeting Kayo's eyes as he took Danny from Parker Scott motioned with his eyes for Kayo to follow him to Danny's nursery. On the way to the nursery Scott explained the situation to Kayo as to why Danny wasn't in his crib. As Scott put Danny into his crib but not before kissing him goodnight Scott then made his way to the door;and turned around just in time to see Kayo kiss him good night. Just as the two were about to leave Scott bent down and turned on a rocket ship nightlight; then Kayo and Scott watched Danny a few more minutes before closing his bedroom door. The pair didn't get very far until a very familiar cry could be heard and it caused Kayo and Scott to cringe at its loudness. The rest of the Tracy clan including Brains groaned Parker however just laughed and said "Here we go again."
