Summary: Kai and Takao watch the sun set together.

This is something I wrote while sitting in a doctor's waiting room, I was just trying to keep myself entertained (aka- playing noughts and crosses on my own. Wired I know) when I saw a picture on the wall of two people watching the sun over the water.
It was a crappy looking picture but it did give me this idea so it was good for something.
Kai sat soundly on the board walk (don't know what it's called) outside the dojo.
The sun was beginning to set and the sky was painted in oranges and reds. The air was still, giving a peaceful feeling to the surroundings of the Kinomiya dojo.
Kai breathed in deeply, taking in the aroma of the flowers in the garden close to him.
He opened his eyes that had unconsciously closed moments before, and looked up at the colourful sky.
He heard the door slide open and footsteps approach him, but he never looked away from the sunset.
He knew who it was.
They quietly sat down beside him, not wanting to disturb his peace.
The two sat together enjoying the setting sun.
"Its getting cold" Came a sweet voice next to Kai
"Hn" Kai quietly replied with a nod of the head.
"We should head inside" the owner of the sweet voice began to stand when a hand grabbed his wrist stopping him. He looked down at Kai.
"Let's just sit, for a little longer. Takao" Kai looked up at Takao with pleading eyes.
"Okay"
Takao sat back down.
He watched Takao, who had turned back to look up at the slowly disappearing sun.
Kai let out a breath he hadn't known he was holding and turned his head towards the sky once again.
Takao heard Kai sigh loudly beside him. He looked down at his hands resting in his lap.
"Kai?"
Kai turned towards Takao with a questioning look. As soon as his head had fully turned he felt soft lips against his. As quickly as it had happened the soft lips left his own. Kai looked into Takao warm eyes.
"I love you."
Takao moved back in for another kiss which Kai welcomed with his own.
After pulling apart the two continued to gaze into each others eyes.
Takao smiled softly and leaned in to rest his head on his shoulder, Kai's hand moved up to stoke his soft blue hair while the other slipped around his waist pulling him closer to sit on his lap.
The sun had finally set and the stars and moon were beginning to light up the dark night sky.
"I love you too, Takao"
I rewrote this, switched the characters around, to make it sound better. I think it does anyway.
