Sorry to start a brand new story but I'm just too stuck on the other one. I'm not sure why my writers block is so bad on that one but once it's fixed I promise I'll finish that story. In the meantime, here's a little story I started. Hope you guys like it! -An Unknown Stranger.

Eleven stretched her arm out toward the darkness before her. She could feel her energy drain and body shake with the amount of power she directed toward the gate. Nevertheless, she continued to fight and ignore any distraction whether it be the rounds firing from Hopper's gun or her pain.

In a distant part of her mind she could sense that Mike was troubled. She could only hope that he would run as far away as possibly. She didn't want him anywhere near herself or the creature occupying the upside down. .

Mike and the others watched as Demodogs ran hastily passed Steve and Dustin. Mike's eyes widened when he realized exactly where they were headed. "Eleven..." he whispered.

He watched as Dustin and Steve were pulled to the surface. While Lucas and Max were distracted by Dustin and Steve, he jumped back into the hole and began to run. "Mike!" Dustin yelled. They all ran to the hole and called for him but he ignored their cries. Steve held them back from following their friend. All they could do was hope they would see him again.

Eleven felt her eyelids began to fall from an overwhelming amount of weakness. "Shit...they keep coming." Hopper sighed as he pulled out a shotgun.

Eleven continued to ignore him as she focused on the gates slow close. She knew she wouldn't last much longer so she unleashed the remaining strength she held.

She screamed as she directed her full power toward the gate. Hopper looked to her in pure awe as her feet rose from the ground. He noticed the gate beginning to close faster and the creatures anger rise.

Mike ran unarmed into the tunnel that held the gate, the demodogs, Hopper, and Eleven. He froze as he watched Eleven in amazement and worry.

His moment of hindrance was broken when he felt a large mass collide into his side. He began to scream when a demodogs hovered over him, digging its claws into his leg.

Eleven immediately froze when she heard the familiar sound of Mike's voice. She quickly ignored her pained state and the gate and rushed to Mike's side. "El!" Hopper yelled. He watched as she jumped over the shaft in a panic. He quickly glanced over the side and watched her catch herself before hitting the ground.

She sprinted with what present energy she still held toward Mike. She flicked her head causing the creature to fly off of Mike quickly. She then dropped to his side and fell onto his chest. Through her fight for consciousness she felt Mike's reassuring hand envelope her's.

"I..I'm okay..." he winced. She knew that was a lie but didn't have the energy to argue. Through her drowsiness she heard another distant concerned voice yelling her name.

"El!" Hopper screamed from the shaft.

Mike winced as he propped himself up on his elbows. He followed Hopper's gaze and felt his chest tighten.

A dark cloud slowly surrounded them until they were completely out of Hopper's sight. Mike held Eleven tightly and braced himself as the cloud covered them. When his eyes opened, he was in an entirely different world. An alternate one to be exact.

He recognized the unknown terrain as the upside down immediately. It was exactly how Will described it. Dark, cold, and familiar.

He peered at Eleven and began to panic. A significant amount of blood ran down her nose and ears, and her skin held no color. He readjusted her to his discomfort and pressed an ear to her chest. Her heartbeat was slow and her breathing quiet. It worried him and he wished now more than ever that she was back with Hopper, but he was all she had and he needed to find a way to help her...he just didn't know where to begin.

He figured the first step was standing. Right as he began to stand, he felt a sudden jolt of pain run up his body. He observed his leg and grimaced. He was surprised that he hadn't noticed the large amount of blood running down his wound and pooling on the ground.

He quickly remembered the war movies he and his father had watched. Mike pulled off his scarf and tied his tightly around his wound. He gritted his teeth in an attempt not to scream.

Once the bleeding began to slow, he shakily stood and tried to clear his vision and head by focusing on Eleven. He bent down and grunted as he picked her up and began to walk. He didn't know where he was headed but he knew he needed to go somewhere.

Hopper slid to the shaft floor as he stared at the now empty spot where Mike and Eleven recently occupied. He slowly turned to the gate with an emptiness in his eyes. "Let them go you bastard!" He screamed.

He then stood, full of rage, and began to fire shots into the gate. "Let them go!" He screamed as tears ran down his cheeks

His gun clicked, signaling the end of his rounds. He threw it to the side with frustration before slamming is hand on the railing repeatedly. "Give them back..." he cried brokenly.

Lucas, Max, and Dustin had not left the hole in which their friend heroically jumped through. "We need to go back to Joyce's house guys. I'm sure Hopper has both of them..." Steve assured.

"Steve's right...plus my brother is probably waking up now." Max sighed.

Dustin and Lucas nodded slowly before hopping in the car. Steve grabbed the keys from Max. "I'm driving." He scowled. She raised her hands in surrender.

Meanwhile, Mike carried Eleven into a cabin. It was Hopper's cabin but it was the one in the upside down. He figured she would feel more relax being somewhere familiar.

He layed her gently on a bed and then layed beside her, full of exhaustion. "I'm going to get us out of here El...I promise." He said before falling unconscious.

Dustin, Lucas, Max, and Steve entered the Byer's household. Once the kids eyes locked onto Will's, they ran forward and engulfed him in a tight hug. "Careful, he's still weak." Jonathan warned.

Nancy broke their moment of happiness with concern. "Where is my brother?" She asked worriedly.

They all looked to one another unsure of how to respond. "He...went after Eleven." Steve informed her gently.

"And you let him?!" She raised her brows.

"I didn't want them following him. I figured that Hopper would find him." Steve argued.

Nancy shook her head. "But you can't be sure, can you?" She replied angrily.

"It's not Steve's fault Nancy...it's all of ours." Dustin explained.

"I'm sure Mike is okay, sweetie." Joyce assured.

"Yeah, he's probably on his way back with Hopper and Eleven." Jonathan added.

Before she could reply the front door opened. They all ran to it and felt their hearts begin to race. Hopper stepped through the doorframe alone with grief in his eyes.

"Where is my brother?" Nancy's voice cracked with tears.

"That thing took..." he shook his head and wiped his frustrated tears. "It took El and Mike..." he finished.

Nancy shook her head and began to cry as Jonathan pulled her into a tight hug.

"We are gonna get them back..." Hopper said sternly.

"How?" Lucas asked.

"I don't know yet...I'll figure it out." Hopper said as he walked passed them.

"Here we go again..." Dustin sighed.
