Starting after the last Level of DMC3 before the gate closes behind Dante.

"Vergil! I won't let you go!" Dante cries as he approaches him with Rebellion. "If I have to kill you to stop you, I will..."

Vergil glares at him. "What is it that motivates you brother, why don't you want this legend of our father's to be undone? He has done wrong and you know it!" He points his sword at him, the darkness around the blade shimmering in anticipation of blood.

"If you go down there, you won't be able to defeat him! You'll die! I can't let you go, please!" Tears begin to run down Dante's face.

Vergil frowns "Since when did you care, all you have ever wanted was... well, exactly what you wanted at the time, peace, chaos, love, OUR FATHER'S DEATH! What, in mother's name could possibly motivate you"!

"You! YOU! You, you impossible idiot! Brother, you remember how we once were! You remember the days and nights we spent in Hell! I can't, and won't forget!"

"That's behind us now, there's more to life than love, Dante, it's time you learned that fact."

"NO!" Dante charges Vergil, jumps and impales him into the ground, impaling himself on his brother's dark-forged blade. They were both stuck there, laying one on top of the other, both with his own sword stuck in the other's chest. The humour of it struck them for but a split second, but only Vergil grinned.

"If I have stay here with you for an eternity, I will!" Dante was on top, and as his tears dropped onto Vergil's lips, Vergil too began to cry.

"I can't believe you, you fool. All of this time, and you still can't let go! You idiot! But you're my idiot!" He began to laugh, but Dante had no time for that, the gate would close soon, and that could mean many things.

He let go of his sword and grabbed his brother by the back of his head, and proceeded to kiss him, not lightly, but fully on the lips! The kiss was magical, it could have lasted a lifetime, but at that very moment, Vergil lost it! His skin hardened and his blue demonic wings sprouted out of his back pushing Rebellion out of the ground, he then pulled both of their swords out and threw them to the side, the blood spraying across his face as their wounds simultaneously healed.

Dante took this as his signal and he too transformed into his true form, a red winged demon so beautiful, that it was worthy of song and poem! They had already almost completely destroyed each other's clothes in the battle, but the transformation had completed the job!

As their wings began to claw at each other's chest in passion, Vergil proceeded to raise Dante's legs, but Dante grinned. Grabbing him by the arm, he slammed his brother into the ground next to him, leaving a small crater.

"You must think I've forgotten. The deal was, I'm always on top!" And with that Dante laid down on top of him...
