After being tortured to near death on his 10th birthday, he runs away and gets trained by the King of Demons. "Run. Trash your name so bad that they wont dare come after you. I will teach you everything I know if you just do these 3 things for me: first is run, second is survive, the third thing I need you to do is..." those were the last words Naruto heard as he was brought back into his harsh reality. It was his 10th birthday and he was found in a dark alley being beaten and tortured. Usually birthdays are something you look forward to, something fun and something you can cherish the memories of, not for Naruto. Every year he would wait in a corner of his apartment for the drunk and angry mob to show up and beat him to a point of death. He decided the best thing for him to do is pretend to be dead, they would lose interest soon enough, just like every other previous year. During the next hour, Naruto tried to remember the last words from the Kyuubi, what was the third thing? He couldnt remember what it was and the pain wouldn't let him return to his mindscape to ask. Eventually they left, but not before destroying his apartment. Naruto waited for his wounds to heal and after a while he gathered his things and walked right out the front gates, after all, he was a civilian. Civilians could leave whenever they wanted and go wherever they needed.
This is all I could think of...so I guess it's up for adoption as of now.
