What if he took a vixen as a mate?
Bats and vixens aren't suppose to mate, but there is something about her he can't get out of his mind.
Thought of this while messing around on the computer.

They had grown up together a bat and a vixen. They had been through a lot together, little did t hey know they would have an attraction to each other and end up mating.
Her name is Aimi. She stand 5'5" has long black hair, as black as oil. Her sapphire eyes shone with love for Kuronue. Her face is heart shaped, which is his favorite feature about her. The shape of her face matches the hearts in his eyes.
*Flashback*
"Aimi, I will take you as my mate one day" he told her. "Okay Kuro" she said reading her book. "Look at me Aimi" he said. She looked up from her book at him. "Promise me we'll be mates when we get older" he said. She nodded. "I promised Kuronue" she said going back to her book. He smiled at his small victory.
*End Flashback*
Time passed and they grew up. Kuronue met Youko Kurama and they became instand friends making the wrong choices.
Aimi was a bit frustrated with Kuronue. He was ready to go treasure hunting with Kurama when he found the house sealed. "Aimi..." he said.
"Look at me Kuronue, REALLY look at me" she said. "I promised you as a kit to be your mate and you're screwing around! Do you want me as your mate or not?!" she demanded.
He couldn't believe she remembered that, he forgot about it. Youko would have to wait. He took her by the hand and led her to their room, where he marked her (finally) and mated with her.
Time has passed and she gave him twins. A boy named Hideki who looked just like Kuronue, but with brown hair. And a daughter who looked like her mother but with silver hair. Her name is Aiko.
Aimi had a feeling she couldn't shake. 'Kuro, don't go tonight, you and Youko cannot go out...if you do, either of you, or both of you will be killed...please don't go' she said through mind link.
He nodded and stepped outside to meet Youko. Kuronue explained what was going on and Youko agreed to stay the night.
Kurama has gone away and Kuronue has his mate and children. He is content and happy
