When it feels like the spring days have turned into winter
When all hope and warmth is gone
When trouble overwhelms you brain
And everything feels so wrong
When someone you love has failed you so bad
And your soul is left to bleed
Is it possible to stand again?
To get back on your feet
Give your soul to Him
He will mend the broken heart and forgive all sin
When darkness clouds your mind
And nothing around makes sense
When you're so confused
That even pain and torture looks better than Him
He's still there never changing always watching
Wanting for you to love Him, to make you whole again
But everything feels like deception, like you can't trust anyone
You won't let Him change you, for fear of what you'll become
Deep down you know it's for the better
You know He only wants to help
But deception rears his head again and you feel suffocated
Like there's no way out
He reaches for you and you want to reach for Him
You can feel yourself falling, not just falling
But being pulled away
Then you feel your hand in His and you know everything is okay
He says give your soul to Me
I will mend your broken heart and forgive all your sin
All darkness leaves and deception is no more
Confusion is forced away and love is put back in your heart
He embraces you in a hug
And says welcome back My child, My love
