Anna: the ramblings of a Spirit Medium's mind
Anna remained silent as the birds sang their peaceful melody like a lullaby. The wind blew softly in a gentle breeze causing her scarf and short blonde hair to waver slightly.
The front yard of the house was as empty as her mind had became through preparation for the 1080 beads however, she still had her memories of Yoh... It was always Yoh who was the centre of her memories, never Trey or Len or any of the others but Yoh...
She took in a deep breath and closed her eyes as she remembered their days where she could watch him train, when they were at school and she saw him every day.
She smiled the slightest bit as she realised how she sounded. How much like a lovesick puppy sounded. Dare she say as much as Morty did. He didn't understand why she had unhooked the phone again this time, considering he had made the effort to get her one last time but, even though Zeke was no longer around, she was still scared of the others. Jeanne and her follower (that's singular) were still a powerful contest and she didn't want to pick up the phone to hear he was dead. After all, no news was good news for someone like her, someone who may soon be Shaman queen.
Things had been normal for a while, them living together in the house, just as it would be when they were wed. Now it was too empty, besides when Morty came around to cook and clean for her, and she waited anxiously for Yoh to return. If he returned.
What would she do if he didn't? Almost her whole life she had been working to prepare Yoh, to train him and stand by his side when the time come for him to become the Shaman king like many in history had done before hand, to stop Zeke like his family had done before hand, even if at some times it hadn't appeared that way to him, Morty and Amidamaru at some times it was true. And the training had paid off when the time had come.
Anna looked up to see where the Destiny Star had appeared to tell Yoh and the others that tournament had begun once more. She shook her head as she walked back inside once more when Morty yelled out that tea was ready.
She didn't know when Yoh would be back or if he would at all but one thing put her mind at ease. That she would always be Yoh's queen, whether he won or lost, he had told her himself.
Hey! So I don't know if anyone got through that since it was rambling and probably repetitive but it has been on my mind for the past few hours since I watched the final episode of the series. Some factors may be incorrect, others may be made up for the purpose of the story that can't be proven wrong by the anime since it didn't state them.
Drop me a review please and sorry if Anna sounds a little too in love...
Bex.
