My first Scooby-Doo fic. Warning: The characters might be OOC. That's a parody for you.

Shaggy and Scooby came to halt next to the gang, panting. "Like, the ghost almost like got us!" said Shaggy. "Like if we weren't like so fast then like we would have been like caught!"

"Reah!" added Scooby.

"Don't worry gang," said Fred. "I have a plan to catch this phantom. Here's what will happen. The Phantom will trip that wire by the door. The wire will cause that can of water to pour on the plant, making it grow. The match attached to the plant will light the dynamite, which will launch that shoe onto the mouse's cage, freeing it. The mouse will grab that cheese, which has a string attached to it. The string will pull those scissors shut, cutting the robe holding up that piano, which will then drop onto the ghost."

"Brilliant plan, Fred," said Velma. "I'm sure it will work flawlessly."

Daphne agreed. "But how will we lure the ghost in here?"

"Easy. Shaggy and Scooby will lure him in here.

The color drained from Shaggy's face. "Like no way man! There is like no way that you will like convince me to like do that."

"Re reither," agreed Scooby.

Velma held out her hand. "Would you do it for a Scooby snack?"

Shaggy shook his head. "Like no way! There is like no way you will like convince me to like put my life in like danger just I can like have a treat that I could like buy at like the store for like 5 bucks!"

"How about TWO Scooby snacks?"

"Like it's a deal!"

"Reah!"

Fred smiled. "Good. Now go lure the ghost into our trap."

Shaggy and Scooby marched out, now looking for the aberration that they had been running like mad from a minute before, all because they had been given a treat.

2 minutes later…

Shaggy and Scooby were running from the ghost at full speed, trying desperately to escape it. They ran through the door, jumping over the trip wire, which, of course, the phantom tripped. However, the trap was so long and complicated that by the time the piano fell, the ghost had stepped out of the way. Everyone gasped. The ghost let out an evil chuckle.

"Now, feel the wrath of the dead!"

Daphne sighed. She pulled out what looked like a spare laptop battery from her purse. She then unfolded it, revealing that the 'battery' was an FMG9, a fully-automatic folding machine pistol. She pointed her weapon at the ghost. "Alright, here's the deal. Come along quietly, and no one gets hurt."

The phantom gulped, and then raised his hands above his head. Everyone else stared incredulously at Daphne.

"Like, when did you like get that?" asked Shaggy.

Daphne shrugged. "A couple of weeks ago. I was tired of constantly getting kidnapped by the monsters, so I decided to find a way to protect myself."

Velma was deep in thought. Finally, she spoke up. "You know, in hindsight, our mysteries would have been a lot easier if we had concealed weapons permits."

Fred, meanwhile, was starring, at Daphne, irritated that Daphne had thought of the idea before he had. He hoped there was some way to get a concealed AK-47 permit.

Well, what do you think? Love it, hate it, or just entertained by it? Don't forget to review.
