The water lapped upon the shore. He grabbed the closet stick and began to write three simple words. She was spinning and saying how the ocean air was fantastic for your pores. He chuckled at the girl in front of him. She smiled herself and asked what was so funny. Without saying a word or giving a warning he simply picked her up and spun her himself. She giggled and laughed while he thought of how lucky he was to have her around. He'd been with a countless number of girls before her, not that he had ever over looked her because doing something like that was harder than writing music, none of the girls though had ever matched or measured up to the beautiful girl he was holding in his arms. Their love was undeniable and it was just that word right there that made him wonder why he had ever tried to say he didn't love her, clearly denying it.
He was almost certain that cupid worked all year long. He'd been shot and he often questioned how long the arrow would be in him. And if it was in the stunning girl in his arms how long would it be? He felt if he kept wondering about whether or not she'd leave him that soon enough she would. Because all the other girls did just that, left. It was in fact partly his fault; he was always thinking about that other girl, that one that had caught his heart from the start. He was always thinking of her, she was almost always on his mind. Always on song sheets, always in songs but it had nothing to do with irony. It was all on purpose; so she could be there even when she wasn't. Because who could really spend time without her?
