Deep in my Heart: Part 4 - "Shameful Actions"

Sora, bored one day, after waiting over a month for a response from Taichi in any form, got an idea. It was a very dishonest idea, but Sora didn't care anymore. She turned the computer on and connected to the Internet. Glancing around to make sure Mimi and Yamato really were gone shopping at Bloomingdale's, she then hacked into Mimi's e-mail account. She scanned the Inbox, which held only 2 messages, but went into different folders. There! Here was an e-mail from Taichi, sent only a week ago. She instantly clicked on it and read, her eyes growing wider:

"Hey, Mimi... I got a letter from Sora today. Oh God, the words were so icy it nearly froze my heart. She's changed so much. It's like she turned into a totally different person. The words were careful and polite, but they held this bitterness... I hardly had the strength to read it through, though it was short. What happened to her? Is it Jyou? She only changed after they got together... Oh, it couldn't be Jyou. He's so harmless, there's no way he could've turned her into the ice maiden. And all that mentioning about Yolei... Right after I broke off our engagement... It hurt so much! I believe she was making fun of my aspirations to be a doctor. I'm not sure if I have the courage to write back. Should I, Mimi? You're so lucky... You and Yamato always knew you would be in love eternally... Oh, Mimi! Why did she have to pick Jyou? Did she take my letter that seriously? I think ... I might... oh, I'm thinking nonsense. Her and Jyou will probably marry and be happy forever. I guess I should move on and forget her... Fuck, even Yolei is warmer to me! Well, I should stop whining. I just needed to get my feelings out. Later."

Sora felt a lump growing in her throat, and a hole in her gut. She had gotten what she wanted: revenge, and to make Taichi feel like shit. But somehow the glory and glamour she had imagined was not there, and she felt like a bitch.

Disgusted with herself, she shut off the computer and curled up in a ball on the couch. How could she make it up to him? She couldn't let him know that she had gone into her roommate and best friend's e-mail without permission and read his message. The damage was done. She felt pathetic and worthless. The emotion and smirk and mischievous glint in her eye all disappeared. She was left plain and bare. She needed to get out. And so she went to Jyou's.

The moment he saw Sora's face, Jyou knew something had happened. But that didn't explain how she seemed so un-emotional and careless. However, this new, insensitive Sora was very sexy, indeed. Jyou's skin began to prickle as they sat down on the couch.

"Is everything, um, okay?" he asked uncertainly.

"I'm just messed up, Jyou. There's nothing new with that. But I know you can make it all better..." she said in a low voice.

Jyou swallowed hard. She was in pain, but she figured making out would make it all better? He was about to protest, but his lips were silenced as Sora leaned over and began to tongue him roughly. The sense of her need overwhelmed him, and before he knew it, he was letting her take off his pants. She was pushing into him, seducing him, but his conscience perked up. He pushed her away gently, and met her questioning look.

"Sora... I can't do this. It's a pity fuck, for God's sake! This isn't the real you... If you want some real help, I'll do all I can. But intercourse isn't the answer to your problem." he explained rather uncomfortably.

She grimaced. Leave up to Jyou to use such a technical term like "intercourse". But hanging her head slightly, she knew he was right. Gathering her things with shame, she left his apartment knowing full well what was happening to her.
