Waiting
He had to admit that having any attraction to her when they first met was now a dismal memory. During the first Cup, she was a Snow Kid; a member of the wretched team that stole his victory in the Cup Finals. And four years later, that thought had remained the same. To him; she was a petty little blond princess who put on the shy girl personality as an act to get attention. He thought of her as the two faced bitch of the team. Yes, she seemed all kind and sweet and innocent but all he did all his life was force himself into seeing the worst in people which was why he had no friend's. Mei was clear from the beginning but he couldn't take her as the blackmailer type person or two faced. What you saw was what you got with Mei but he had a bad feeling about Tia.
How wrong he was though.
Sinedd didn't often admit he was wrong but during the second Cup, he began to realise just how wrong he was. He always hated Rocket; he was the Captain of the GF Cup champions and son and nephew of two of the greatest football players to have lived and as well as that, he was shyly dating the 'Girl with the Breath'. Their relationship had been secret for so long and even when known, it appeared to still be secret. Sinedd had to admit that he longed for a relationship like that.
Then Rocket, the man with everything, left the team. And more shockingly, Tia. From there Sinedd learned that Tia's image was in fact not an act but who she really was. The guilt of thinking of such a person that way was eating him up inside and was one half of the reason he faced Rocket in the Sphere. The other half was to prove he was a better player than Rocket himself. He had gotten the Captain into the mess and heard many stories from sources about how Tia was handling everything and he felt guilt-stricken. And he had tried to undo his mistakes but Rocket was a living monster. You could see it in his eyes.
And so, Sinedd failed.
He failed Tia and her relationship with Rocket but a part of him felt pleased that their relationship was disintegrating right in front of his eyes. He felt bad for Tia having to suffer but given time, she would get over it because she was strong. Then something totally unexpected happened.
He had heard that something had happened to her parent's but he wasn't sure what and it was clear when she came back that she was a whole new Tia. Still shy and caring but stronger. And with her new found strength, she faced the monster in the cage and succeeded in cleaning up Sinedd's mess even with a few injuries.
He had tried to stop Rocket from leaving but he retorted back saying it was his. But Netherball wasn't what Sinedd wanted. No. He wanted the one that Rocket would never lose even if he tried-Tia. And after he had faced her, Rocket made it clear with his protective grip always on her and how he defended her in the finals match against the Xenon's, that he wasn't going to lose her again.
Sinned knew he had no hope unless he took Rocket out of the picture altogether. But that would hurt Tia.
So once again, he was left waiting for someone to come and love him.
Don't know of it makes sense; I was in the mood for experimenting and this came out of me. Basically just a drabble. Hope you enjoyed it anyways!
