Yeah, it's gonna be like this. The average superhero story. Saved at a young age, part of a prophecy to save the world from a dangerous evil, gets the love of their life, lots of fluff and stuff, then they become a hero.

But it's not like that.

Hi. My name is Olivia Green and this is my story.

It all started in 7th grade. It was last period, and guess where I was? Detention. Mrs. Richards (Mrs. Salty Face), had decided that I needed detention because I missed a homework. So now I'm here, doodling absentmindedly in my notebook. Then, Mrs. Salty Face struts over with her bird beak and asks me to come out into the hall. I grumbled and shuffled out after her.

"You are in trouble." She said. I nodded absentmindedly.

"And you're going to pay the price." She growled, surprisingly inhuman. I backed up wearily. "Um, Mrs. Richards? You've got a little something, uh, everywhere." I pointed to her body and face.

She had turned into a full-fledged demon with creepy talons-like hands and wings. She hissed and swatted me across the room, sending me flying and out onto the front lawn of the school. I winced, dabbing at the claw marks that ripped through my shirt.

"Aw, that was my favorite shirt!" I cried out. Then not so-Mrs. Richards flew out the hole and grabbed me roughly by the neck as I scrambled and clawed, my neck turning blue as I wheezed for air. Then something flashed a bright bronze and Mrs. Demon poofed into a cloud of dust, sending me hurtling towards the ground. Then a quick gust of air stopped my descent. I landed with a soft 'oof' on the ground and sat up. 3 kids descended from the sky.

One seemed to float on a cushion of air. He had light blonde hair with bright blue eyes and thin rimmed glasses. Above him, two kids rode on what looked like a mechanical dragon. (I was too confused to care). One of them was a girl and the other was a boy. When they got closer, I noticed the boy had tan skin, dark hair and little elf-like ears. He had a mischievous glint in his eyes and his clothes were covered in grease stains. The other girl was also tan with long brown hair in a braid. She had an eagle feather in her hair and she looked very pretty.

"Um, hi." I said.

"Are you ok?" The blonde haired boy asked me.

"I was just attacked by my math teacher." I said blatantly.

"You should come with us." The boy said.

I went to take a step forward, then planted face forward in the grass.
"Are you ok?" He asked. "No." I groaned. "She clawed me with her weird talons."

"That's a problem." The sandy-haired boy helped me up. "I feel woozy…." I murmured, then I passed out.

Wonderful! I just passed out.
