Hiya! I'm one of the co-writers for a story created by Firefall Heart called 'Guards of the Spiral'! And this is a small introduction for my character, Alura Star! Hope you all enjoy!
It was time for a new school year in Ravenwood. Many students had come to enroll in the school, with one of them being a young girl named Alura Star, of the Marleybone Star family.
In Marleybone there is a private school for wizards, and there is also Pigswick Academy in Wysteria, but her parents were convinced by Alura's cousin Damien after the... incident that she would go to Ravenwood.
When she left the Spiral Door and found herself in Wizard City, she was thrilled to bits. So many new things to discover, so many new friends to meet... But she never realized that she would find enemies as well... Especially not an old one...
She looked around the area, and had bumped into someone after she noticed that the Death School was gone.
„Oh, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to-„ Alura looked at the person she bumped into, discovering that it had been none other than her enemy, Destiny LegendMask.
„Wha- You." The blonde said in an irritated voice.
„You." The brunette said in return. „I thought traitors aren't allowed to learn magic."
„Oh, I though naivetés weren't allowed either."
Alura wanted to say something, but kept calm. „Ugh, never mind. If you have already took your test can you at least tell me where to go?"
„Fine, I'll be nice this once because I'm in a good mood. If you're wondering why it's because I got the Myth School. Go to The Commons and go to the house with the gates, Headmaster Merle Ambrose might be waiting for you there. Smell ya later!" And with that Destiny walked away.
„Sheesh, what is her problem?"
When Alura got to the Headmaster's home and got past the introductions, they went into a tower, where the Headmaster's pet owl, Gamma, had set up the Book of Secrets, which contained the test for Alura.
„Seems pretty easy." She thought. „Favorite gemstone? Amethyst, obviously. Favorite subject? All of them, of course!"
When she finished the test, she saw that she changed. She noticed that her hair was now hot pink, and her skin was now slightly tanned instead of pale. She didn't know it yet, but her deep brown eyes had also become amber colored.
„Congratulations, Alura! You are now an official student of the School of Storm." Merle Ambrose announced. „Storm Wizards are known for their intelligence and creativity, they have the ability to unleash high amounts of damage from an early level, which is good, but-„
After hearing the part about high damage she zoned out, thinking about both the consequences and advantages. She didn't realize that the Headmaster was actually talking about the consequences when she had zoned out.
„-So make sure to make a good strategy when you're out there, alright, miss Star?" He finished.
Alura had zoned back in and said „Yes!"
The rest of the day she went to explore the City, and in the evening she went to her new dorm room, where her luggage was already waiting. (She let her parents send her luggage instantly to her room since the rooms were given out after enrollment.) She unpacked, decorated her room, and instead of sleeping, she went stargazing, that being a tradition of hers that she has been doing since her normal schools in Marleybone. Strangely enough she felt like she had more energy than usual, therorizing that it was because she became a Storm Student. And because of that, she didn't sleep the whole night.
And little did she know, that the next morning would be the beginning of a new adventure, in which she would be part of.
