A black portal appeared in Xemnas's office. Xemnas, bent over stacks of papers at his desk, didn't look up as Saïx appeared in front of him.
"Superior.-"
"Ahh VII, how did the mission go?" the Superior questioned, not bothering to look at the Luna Diviner.
"Excellent sir...but that's not what I wanted to talk to you about." The blue-haired man shifted uncomfortably. He knew Xemnas would not take this information well.
"Well. What's wrong? Did that little brat, Sora, get in your way again. My how I wish he wouldn't do that."
"Sir. I just wanted to let you know that I-" The Luna Diviner couldn't look up to see if The Superior was paying any attention to him. The attention that he craved; the attention that he needed. "Superior I was just wondering if maybe we could–"
"Saïx can this wait until later. I really do have a plethora of work that needs to be done. I can give you another mission if you would like."
"No. Xemnas I–"
The gray-haired Superior looked up suddenly and glared at the blue-haired berserker.
"You will refer to me as Superior or Sir! Never call me by my name." Xemnas roared. He was truly angry at his subordinate. How dare Number VII treat him like an equal. He was the Superior.
"I'm sorry sir. It slipped."
"Next time you talk to me I want you to have some respect! Here are your new assignments, I don't want to see or hear from you until all of them are completed."
Saïx looked down at the large stack of assignments that Xemnas had just given him.
"But Sir, these will take forever to do."
"Then you better get started!"
