Chapter 1 My Life Sucks

Percy POV

My life could not get any worse, I know what you're thinking right something like aren't you the hero of Olympus, winner of two wars. Yep, thats me. I guess you probably want to know how I got to this rubbish position that I am in now, well I guess it all started about 2 months ago just after the end of the giant war.

Flashback:The Seven of us were relaxing at the beach when Chiron came and told us that the gods wanted us. As he said that Hermes appeared and flashed us to Mount Olympus. As we appeared Zeus shouted "Silence, this meeting is to reward the brave heroes who fought Gaea, Jason Grace my son come forward" Jason stepped forward "Jason for your deeds in the war against Gaea we offer you immortality, Do you accept?". "Yes I do,Father"Jason said "Very well"Zeus said "I name you minor god of lightning and storms".

So so far Jason, Leo and Annabeth had accepted and Hazel, Piper and Frank had declined"Percy Jackson for the second time I offer you immortality and this time a seat on this council"Zeus boomed "I am sorry Lord but I must decline but for my wish I would like to have Hestia and Hades have seats on the council". "Very well return to your duties"he said as he flashed away in a bolt of lightning. He should be called the god of drama I thought.

Line Break Inside Flashback

About 1 month after the rewards Piper and I were talking about peace when Leo ran up and said that it was the time for the reunion he asked us to find Jason and Annabeth "Let's try the beach" Piper suggested and I nodded we were just at the top of the beach when we saw 2 blondes making out we shrugged and ignored them but the girl's next words made us both freeze "Oh Jason, I love you so much" The Boy replied "I know and Annabeth when are you going to dump the loser Percy" We both turned to each other with tears in our eyes and as one we walked out of camp.

We were about 1 mile out of camp when we both sat down "I can't believe they would do that to us." Piper muttered "I know I can't believe it either."

Flashback End

So now we were sitting in a clearing in an Arizona forest. We got there when a random person gave us a plane flight to Phoenix. Unfortunately as soon we got there in typical demigod we heard about mysterious activity in the Phoenix Mountains(gee, wonder what that could be). So here we were walking through a forest towards the Phoenix Mountains where red lightning was arcing across the horizon. Suddenly, a voice said "well Lord Kartel will pay well for these, let's get em boys"
