A/N: This idea came randomly to me while I was in my contemporary literature class. Since I'm struggling with my non-one shot fics, I figure I could write this to pass the time. It's a one-shot to start with so I probably won't update it unless there is fan requests or I get an idea to continue this. Hope you all enjoy!

Summary: Kaiba's inner thoughts after activating Pyramid Of Light which removes the Gods from the game and starting to get manipulated by the Egyptian Lord Of The Dead, Anubis. I haven't decided on any pairings for this or not.

A/N: Also note that the Seto at the beginning isn't the true Seto, the one in his subconsciousness is as Blue-Eyes Shining was given by Pegasus and the Pyramid of Light card was planted by Anubis. One last thing: Anubis doesn't actually appear but he is rather the ghostly voice at the end.

WARNING: THIS CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR THE DUBBED VERSION OF THE MOVIE!!

"Reveal trap card, Pyramid Of Light!" The brown-haired, azure-eyed Blue-Eyes duelist Seto Kaiba shouted.

Yami Yugi gasped in both shock and surprise. 'So the Pyramid of Light is more than just an ancient artifact. It's also a card!'

Eerie chanting that sounded like it was Egyptians echoed throughout the arena as it was slowly shaped into the Pyramid outside. To the casual observer the only slightly understandable words were 'Pyramid, position'.

Seto gave a smug grin. "Looks like your so-called 'unstoppable monsters' have been stopped." He teased.

"But how?" Yami asked.

"See for yourself." Seto replied.

Yami watched, horrified as each of the 3 God monsters made contact with the Pyramid and were instantly removed from the field!

Seto grinned and laughed his trademark laugh…

Deep within Seto's subconsciousness

Seto groaned softly as his azure eyes slowly opened. "What happened…where am I?" He asked as he stood up.

The corridor he was in was totally black except for one glimmer of light at the far end.

He groaned softly as he walked. "The last thing I remember was using Obligatory Summon when Yugi played Slifer…"

He slowly made his way to the veil of light and stepped inside, allowing him to see the duel.

At this point in the match, Seto had the Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon on the field.

The Seto in his subconsciousness gasped in surprise at the sight of the shining Blue-Eyes. "What the?! What is that?! I never had that or that Pyramid card in my deck!" He screamed. (1)

He watched, stunned as the new dragon which he had never seen before in battle, obliterate Yugi's strongest magician, the Sorcerer Of Dark Magic.

"I don't know what's going on exactly but I think I'm being played…" The true Seto muttered.

"How right you are…" A ghostly voice echoed.

"Huh?" The true Seto asked then turned around before letting out a bone-chilling scream at the horrid sight that was before him…
