Yesterday all my troubles seemed so far away.
For Quigley Quagmire, they did. Yesterday he was on the ledge of a frozen waterfall kissing Violet Baudelaire. They had momentarily forgotten their troubles, as they shared a quiet moment together. Forever kept between them two.
Now it looks as though they're here to stay. Oh I believe in yesterday.
Now he was rushing down the Stricken Stream, crying. He would never forget the time he spent with Violet. He kept reliving the events in his head, he knew if he ever saw her again he would marry her.
Suddenly, I'm not half the man I used to be there's a shadow hanging over me. Yesterday came suddenly.
He wasn't himself. He couldn't love anyone but Violet anymore. She was his only reason to keep going. All he wanted was to see her again.
Why she had to go, I don't know she wouldn't say. I said something wrong now I long for yesterday.
Why did she have to be ripped away from him. Her and her siblings were rushing down the opposite tributary of the Stream. He called for them to meet him at the Hotel Denouement; he should have called louder or told them earlier. They should have just fetched Sunny and left. He hated himself. He just wanted his Violet back, like yesterday.
Yesterday, love was such an easy game to play, now I need a place to hideaway. Yesterday came suddenly.
Being with Violet was easy. She loved him as much as he loved her. But now, Quigley was alone. He needed her. He didn't realize how fast one day could go by. How fast one he loved could slip away. As Kit Snicket's boat came into view he heard a song playing on her radio, "Yesterday" by the Beatles. They were Violet's favorite band, as well as his. He thought that the song perfectly described his emotions right now.
Love it? Hate it? Either way review it! =) First reviewer gets a virtual cake!
