Hello readers. I'm back. I have begun yet another story and yes, I have not forgotten the other story I have started. I've had writers block. Not to mention videos to make, studying to do, pictures to be drawn, a whole bunch of stuff. But my goal for this year is to finish all of these stories. So watch this space for updates, YAY! Anyways, this story is about Wendy moving to Scotland and all her experiences. Expect a BIG plot twist in the middle of the story! So, enjoy the story.
"I can't believe it," said 14 year old Wendy as she walked out the door of her new house. The atmosphere was moist and cold, not like where she lived before moving here. Her long black hair got caught in the wind, blowing onto her face and into her eyes. She wore a thick coat. Underneath it, her school uniform. Which consisted of a white blouse, a black and red tie and black skirt with black leg warmer socks, provided some warmth from the bitterness of the cold. She began to walk down the street and crossed the road. She still hadn't gotten used to the cars driving the opposite way. Wendy walked down many streets on this journey, all were very long and tiring, she wished that they had school buses here. This was the way she was going to walk to school every day. Wendy sighed at the thought, she wished she didn't have to move over to this country. All her friends were back home, where she used to live. After her mum and dad got divorced, her mum wanted to move to Scotland, where some of her ancestors lived a long time ago, But Wendy didn't agree to this movement, but eventually got talked into it. So there she was, new house, new land, new life. As she finished thinking about her old past, Wendy glanced at her new school in the distance. It was huge. It was a huge cream building, which then joined with 2 smaller buildings at each end of it.A spacious playground surrounded the structure. This school, without a doubt, was bigger than any of the school Wendy had gone to, or even seen in her life. Now she was certain that she was going to get lost going up to her classes. That was one of her fears.
Wendy finally got into the school and seen many kids hanging about the grounds. She saw people hang out at the stairs smoking. Next, she saw a group of boys kick the football about the place, dodging the cars in the car park. She made sure not to go where they were, so as not to get hit if one of the boys were to miss. She then headed to the main building which was the biggest one, which she was told to do by her mum. Inside the building was a large central hall, with corridors leading to classrooms and a big banner hanging on the wall that said,
"Welcome to St Paiges Academy"
Some welcome this was.
I might continue this after I finish my other stories. So yeah...
Also, I'm from Scotland so I do know what these places are like.
