AN: When I first started writing Mysterious Metamorphosis, it was to see what I could get right before The Deathly Hallows came out. Now, though, after my reactions to Book 7, it is more of a let us see how well I can fix what she so badly screwed up. Let the band-aids flow through these words.
Unnecessary Roughness: A companion piece to Mysterious Metamorphosis
Harry couldn't believe his eyes as the Death Eaters surrounded them as soon as they all took to the air, each "Harry Potter" flying off into a different direction. He clung to the edges of the sidecar as Hagrid sped away.
"NO! HEDWIG!!" Harry screamed into the black of the night.
"Oh Merlin, George, your ear!" Harry gasped.
The constant running wearing them down…
Ron leaving…
Dobby's death…
Some weird old lady turning into Nagini…
Running from Voldemort…
Ron coming back, but them getting captured and taken to Malfoy Manor…
Getting buried in burning metal…
Using Unforgivables…

The Great Hall filled with the dead…

Standing by and doing nothing as Snape bled to death…
Harry sat up suddenly, his body drenched in a cold sweat. "Oh, thank Merlin! It was just a nightmare," Harry said to himself as he saw he was in his room in Grimmauld Place. He then let out a nervous laugh, and said "As if we would ever do any of that." Harry then laid back down and meditated before slipping back into a peaceful sleep.
AN: Well, I feel a little better now. Everyone will be happy to know that the Muse has once again graced me with her help, and Chapter Twenty is once again being worked on. If you couldn't tell, the title is how I feel JKR treated her wonderful characters. I am so glad that there is Fanfiction, for there are many wonderful writers out there righting the wrongs done.
