[Set at the beginning of series 4, when Abby and Connor are temporarily living with Jess]

Connor groaned and repositioned himself, still half asleep, "Connor!" Abby whispered, "Connor, are you awake?" She poked him in the arm.

"No." He replied, his voice muffled due to the fact that his face was buried into his pillow. Abby poked him again, this time quite a bit harder, "ow!" He complained, "what?" He turned over again to face her.

"Can you hear that?" She whispered again.

"Hear what?" he sighed.

"That!" Connor tilted his head, like a dog does when they're trying to listen to something, maybe more like a puppy though, a cute puppy... Abby's thoughts were interrupted by Connor's groggy voice, "it's just music Abby." He slumped back into the bed.

"But Connor, it's half past 4 in the morning!" She snapped, her voice no longer a whisper. Connor sat upright in the bed.

"What?!" He pulled the duvet away and dragged himself out of bed, and shoved on a dressing gown, Abby did the same. Connor lead the way out of the bedroom and along the –uniquely- decorated hallway until they read the stairs, where they leaned over the banner to see Jess Parker sat cross-legged on some kind of yoga mat. "Uh- Jess?" Connor called over the blaring music. No reply.

Connor opened his mouth to call again but was beaten to it by Abby, "JESS!" Jess jumped and looked around a couple of times before she noticed her two guests standing above her, she sprung to her feet and switched the music off.

"Oh, guys, I'm so sorry I completely forgot to say, I like to do early morning yoga to, ya know, keep me calm through the day." She explained.

Abby leant her head on Connor's fluffy shoulder, "At 4 o'clock in the morning?' He asked.

"Well they don't call it early morning yoga for nothing!" She replied, smiling enthusiastically, "do you want to join in?" She asked, genuinely thinking they would say yes.

"Uh no, thanks Jess-" Connor started.

"Could you turn it down a bit?" Abby interrupted, her eyes barely open, now clutching onto Connor's arm for support.

"Oh, yes of course, see you in a bit!" Jess called as the couple groaned to each other and slunk back to the quiet of their room, holding onto what they never seemed to let go of recently, and all they really had left; each other.
